playing catch up

let's see... we've had a busy few weeks, so bear with me.

i bought rylan a wii for his birthday. thats been fun. i think he loves it.

his parents came out for a week. we went to charleston, sc for a night. shopped on king street for a while and walked around city market.  walked over to battery pointe, which has some of the most beautiful homes i've ever seen.  toured calhoun house, which the guide said was used in "the notebook", but since i'm a total expert on that film, i beg to differ! i didn't argue with her, but she's wrong.  had dinner at bubba gumps.  the next day we went to fort sumter and the u.s.s. yorktown. that boat was really boring. sorry, but it's true. ugh.  the fort was cool.  we headed back to savannah for rylan's birthday. we were supposed to go on a dolphin cruise, but due to bad weather it got cancelled. went to bistro savannah for dinner and it was delicious!  took a day trip to st. augustine. the architecture in that city is absolutely gorgeous.  

we spent yesterday at the beach. always a great day, except coming home we brought half the sand with us.
